Saw the pilot as a theatrical release in 1979. Haven't seen any episodes since the series cancellation. Watched part 2 of the pilot last night on MeTV. I laughed at the dance scene between Buck and the princess. She was trying so hard to keep her horns from falling off. Reminded me of Heath Ledger's dance scene in "A Knight's Tale." Another anachronistic spin around the dance floor!

HahA! Cheezy 80's fun! Always loved this show as a kid. Loved Erin Gray as Wilma Deering, and Pamela Hemsley as Princess Ardala. Twiki was a walking penis. They don't make sci-fi like this anymore. These days, it's really caught up in being overly serious with lots of special effects which is not to say that's bad.

I wondered how long Star Trek TOS would stay gone from MeTV's Super Sci-Fi Saturday Night line-up. It's back at midnight. Buck Rogers is safe, but Battlestar Galactica is gone.

It looks like Buck Rogers has been dropped from METV's Saturday night schedule. Not happy about it :-( but at least METV had the grace to end it tonight, with the series finale.
Svengoolie expands to two and half hours next week, with Batman immediately after. To cash in on release of "The Batman"? Star Trek moved to after Batman.

Dang that really sucks. I have it on blu-ray so I'm ok, but it's a bummer that this show won't reach more people. Also sucks about Battlestar Galactica. I love the Glen Larson scifi shows, good clean fun with just the perfect whiff of cheese.
If they ever nix Star Trek TOS that's pretty much the last sign of the apocalypse.

I'm sorry I missed it. I wasn't a big fan of season two, but I still watched. Who knows when I can see it again?
I always wondered how the minds of METV programmers worked. But, if it premiered on METV 9/8/18 and ended 3/20/22, that's 185 one-hour blocks of time that needed to be filled. Given that there are 37 episodes, with each two-part show counting as two episodes, that means the entire series was shown 5 times through, on METV. Maybe they only had a contract to show it fives times?
