The real star of Celeste is Sara Santano, a Tax inspector who has spent her life collecting taxes. Having dedicated more than thirty years to inland revenue, and on the point of retiring, she receives the most important assignment of her career: to demonstrate that Celeste must pay tax in Spain.

Sara Santano es una inspectora de hacienda que ha dedicado toda su vida a la recaudación de impuestos. Después de más de treinta años entregados a la Agencia Tributaria, decide prejubilarse. Sin embargo, el último día recibe el encargo más importante de su carrera: demostrar que Celeste, la gran estrella musical latina, reside en España y tiene que pagar aquí sus impuestos. Para ello, Sara tendrá que aparcar su vida para recorrer la de Celeste y demostrar que pasó 184 días en el país.
