Not according to the initial press release. The press release clearly calls the new episodes "Season 1B."
Since someone created a second season with duplicated episodes, we have to wait and see how the episodes are added to the IFC website before removing anything.

Both the official poster and trailer, released on a later date, say "new season". I doubt they do that just for fun. YMMV

Maybe, maybe not. The upcoming "Comedy Actress" episode is currently listed as S1E6 on the IFC schedule.
