Discuss Power Rangers

After Season 3 of Mighty Morphin, the Power Rangers series began to be in annual separate series like Zeo and In Space. As such, they should have their own entries in the database and not smushed all together in one series.

As noted here, a show like Time Force is not listed as "the 9th season of Mighty Morphin" but as it's own series: https://powerrangers.fandom.com/wiki/Power_Rangers_Time_Force

As visible on this archived page of the official site, they are considered as seasons of a single show.

The Fandom is not an official site.

Except it isn't considered as that, it's just a confusing misuse of the word seasons being used like series.

The official home video releases treats them like separate series as well as IMDb: https://www.amazon.com/Power-Rangers-Time-Force-The-Complete-Series/dp/B015I14632 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0256278/

No one considers Power Rangers to be one long TV show like that and it leads to confusion when searching it up, posters, and ratings for each show.

We need to follow the official site.

The way it is listed on other sites is irrelevant here.

You mean the now defunct site? Should it really still be "followed" if it's down now?

Yes.

It being down means it's not a reliable source anymore.

And as noted, having each seperate series in the franchise as "a season" is just banal. Should we note Star Trek Deep Space Nine as "seasons 11-18 of Star Trek (1966)" then since it's in the same franchise?

No, that doesn't change the reliability of the source. When there are changes after the original broadcast, we continue to follow the way it was originally broadcasted.

These series have always been advertised as separate series, which is not the case for Power Rangers.

Except that's not how they were broadcasted at all. They've always been done as seperate titles.

And again, I have listed official examples of them being advertised as seperate series. As well as streaming services nothing them as seperate entries.

Having them all as one makes no sense.

This is not what Hasbro is saying.

The official site clearly list them as seasons. So, they should be listed as seasons.
