Item: Haywire

Language: en

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: This looks like the page for the movie called "Haywire" - but it's in the tv section and pretty empty. On the other hand, I can't find a page for the movie ...

This one is actually for an old UK sketch show! 80's or 90's! https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/haywire/

Some user added wrong information though xD

I'm fixing up the entry as we speak (:

Thank you, Marr! relaxed

I re-open this again, because I think this caused another error during the import of my ratings via CSV file from IMDb. See, it's like this:

I went through my tv show ratings yesterday evening here on TMDb, and I became suspicious of this title "Haywire" (the one that you fixed up, the UK sketch show). I never watched a tv show with this title and I didn't rate one, so I looked into the changes of this title yesterday (before you fixed it up):

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/22907-haywire/changes

Among other things, the other user gafpilot entered the wrong IMDb ID for this title in November 2013, and you updated this field yesterday: from tt1506999 to tt0204090. But this also means that up until you updated the wrong IMDb ID, there were (at least) two different items in the TMDb database with the same IMDb ID:

  1. The correct one, the movie Haywire.
  2. The wrong one, the UK sketch show Haywire.

And here's the problem regarding the import from IMDb via CSV file: If the import procedure here on TMDb identifies the wrong one of those 2 items, it sets the rating for the wrong item. And that's exactly what happened:

My existing IMDb rating for the movie was accidentally/automatically changed to a rating for the UK sketch show here on TMDb. That's why I found this UK sketch show in my ratings here on TMDb yesterday, but not the movie.

A solution would be to run through all the IMDb ID's here on TMDb and look for such duplicates. But I'm not sure if it's that easy to do? What do you think, should I post this problem in the "Website Support" section? Or did I miss something and I'm wrong?

Best wishes,

janar

OT: By the way - you probably don't remember that, a few days ago, you, banana_girl and I discussed your rule of not submitting empty episodes to the show "The Good Fight" after my contributions of episodes 3 to 10 were deleted. This morning, Wong created all of them again the same way I did:

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/69158-the-good-fight/season/1/changes

And s/he does this for many more shows besides this one. Just saying: another one who doesn't know about one of your rules ...

I will point this issue out to Travis!

Thanks!
