IMO these are not standalone mini series and are specials off the main show. If this decision holds then it has a wider impact to other shows, one example battlestar galactica which also has web episodes https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/1972-battlestar-galactica/season/0. Also, what about Flight 462 and Passage from FTWD ? Is Dead in the Water going to be deleted from specials ? This is all silly and looking to cause problems when one does not exist...

If the network creates a separate page for the spin-off webseries, a new show should be created instead of adding the episodes as specials.

What's silly is putting unrelated shows under one umbrella. The actors from webisodes shouldn't have the main show listed on their page, they are not part of it.

While I see your point you'll never convince me it's correct to move these from the main show to its own miniseries.
