Also. With this logic, why does the Pokemon anime have separated seasons based on the American broadcast? Very inconsistent

Yes, this is not a sequel of the previous ones.

It is explain in the content reports of the previous series, for example this one, that the seasons will be reorganised at a later date to match the original Japanese broadcast.
