Noting that the drawer was not tampered, an inside job is suspected. Gates confirms to Webster that Jim Tapper has a history of theft and offers Jack's finances as a potential motive, too. When Jim turns up missing, the case appears to be solved. However, the truth about the theft eventually emerges, and apologies are in order.
