I see what you're saying. It shows on the homepage of NBC Password website, but check this out if you drill deeper into the episode list. It's listed as s1 e9, but season 1 ended with e8.

That is strange. Both listings of the episode are playable with the same runtime. The S02E01 episode is shown as expiring tomorrow, but the S01E09 episode has "season 2, Episode 1," included in its tags. I'm not sure how it's handled in a case like this, but if the S01E09 episode has been listed all day, and the S02E01 episode is delisted tomorrow, it might make more sense to list it as S01E09.

So the episode was listed as both S2 E1 and S1 E9 simultaneously, depending on the page viewed, the S2 E1 version was later removed, and now it's only listed as S1 E9?

If this is the case, then it should probably be listed as S1 E9 on TMDB as well.
