Has anyone here seen the first episodes yet? If so, what did you think? I have only seen a trailer & am wondering about how real/good the monsters look.

Just finished the first episode and it feels a bit like I just watched three episodes in that a lot of storyline was laid down. Currently watching Episode 2 and it looks like they’re leading into back story.
Anticipate multiple timelines (and subtitles for some folks) so you’ll not want this as a “background” show to have on while working. Full-disclosure... that’s how I started until the first action scene kicked in and I found myself going back too often.

Only managed to find time for the first two episodes and the monsters looked good.
On the whole I've enjoyed it, but I'm getting annoyed by the current trend for non-linear storytelling. Damn you, Christopher Nolan! Also, from what I remember of the movies, Monarch seemed to be fairly benign but here they definitely seem sketchy. None of the movies were worth a repeat watch to me, so I may have misread that.
