Well, Mel Brooks is involved & there are many articles, reviews, etc. that can tell you that? I have only skimmed an article at The Hollywood Reporter.

No doubt it'll be funny. But the original was a uniquely "of its time" delight that I really don't think the sequel will be likely to work as well as or to improve upon.

I don't have any interest in checking it out.
