It's like Netflix and one actor from Ramy decided they need their lighter version of Muslim show with no depth and preferably not that many Muslims, so let's focus also a lot (too much) on Mexican GF and other people and show almost nothing of Houston. I mean it's OK, it's occasionally funny but it's like 6-7/10 while Ramy is in different class like 8-9/10.

edit: so surprisingly second season is much heavier and better in the light of Gaza genocide happening, though I'd still rather see new Ramy season
