Does anyone not feel sorry for his ex? She really wasn't written that sympathetic. She dumps her kid, caused the bunkers nothing but grief and refused any responsibilities for her actions. Unsympathetic till the end as she carries the little burden off and cursing the bunkers for not wanting to help.
