man i was excited for this but after 6 episodes i had NO idea what was going on and some of the scenes were incredibly long for the sake of being incredibly long. when i find myself searching on my iPad for foreclosure properties in the area, i know it's time to move on. bummer

I'm loving it, oddly enough I tried to get a friend into Twin Peaks and he gave up after 4 episodes of Season 1....

I'm finding this season utterly enchanting. Every week I turn in, having no idea what I'm about to see. Pretty cool.

Right now, I am thinking of giving up too. I watched episodes 1 through 6 from season 1 and I don't think I will watch season 2. I'll most likely finish up the last episodes of season 1, and call it a day. Some of the themes and plots were interesting, but it started to become just too jangled together for me. I just feel like there is really no resolution coming, after glimpsing through one of the plot descriptions from an episode of season 2.

I have watched other films by Lynch, so I get what was happening with the artistry. I watched both Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive. I actually liked certain aspects of the style in Twin Peaks, but as a whole, I'm just not feeling it. Also, on Netflix, there are two seasons combined together. The first one has 8 episodes, and Season 2 is like 22 episodes or something. I saw that they were from the 1990's, however I didn't see a season 3, although I seemed to remember a return version of the show. This can lead to confusion in a similar way that happens when things are named the same title like Friday The 13th, Halloween or Texas Chainsaw Massacre (there have been so many versions I lose track).
