Talk about some weird shit. This episode takes the cake thus far. I'm thinking that they are saying that the nuclear detonation is what unleash these entities upon us, BOB included. But the giant at the theater, the fat girl with the Laura Palmer crystal ball, the bug that crawls in the girls mouth, the soot people , the crazy broadcast that put people to sleep, and immortal Mr. C just got me all sorts of lost. Compelling but quite confusing.

Hey at least now I know what people are talking about when they say they had a bad trip. The bug was gross but I saw a little Cronenberg in there somewhere so that was kinda nice. Seeing good Laura Palmer being sent to earth to fight evil BOB was a nice touch even though it was all very "let the lid of Lynch's head and see what we will find!". He can paint anything in this show and we buy it because it's Lynch, right?
Maybe somewhere he wants to tell us we should lay down arms because we're only releasing evil upon ourselves.

This show is the best advert why hard drug use should be banned.
I get the impression season three was the product of some serious drugged out "hey, man, let's write some crazy sh*t!" state of mind.

I did get some very heavy Eraserhead vibes from the B&W scenes and the fat girl in the tower also reminded me of the singing girl with the weird cheeks in Eraserhead. But besides the weird crap that went on I'm totally bummed that Mr. C cannot die which means no good Cooper.
