Mr. Strawberry is no doubt the warden's dog. He took the dog as a sign to let the Warden know that he did indeed know who he was or else how would he know that he had a dog named Mr. Strawberry? What is mysterious is exactly why he sent the dog legs out or what it was that the warden was involved with.

But YES, I think they found the thing that looks like a HUMAN TOUNGE inside of the TRUNK of HASTINGS?

Yes, the conversation between EVIL COOP and Warden Murphy says it was a DOG LEG- that is WHY the detective said "WOOF!!" when he saw it.

and I was confused by EVIL COOP saying "one you found in my trunk" when it was Hastings trunk- but I guess since EVIL COOP /BOB was really the ones behind it all, it really was his trunk.

I have said here before (don't remember which thread) that right before that CREATURE in the BOX was a creature- it was a woman with a long white dress and hat , appearing to be a woman out on a nice day strolling - then it morphed, became nude and turned into the CREATURE.
