That whole scene was

Loved the way Coop jumped into kick as s mode,

and I am loving Janey-E's bad as s attitude in EVERY situation.

Definitely a cool scene. Probably the best of the episode. Naomi Watts has just been fantastic in that role. The character is a real firecracker.

After watching that scene again (and again) I no longer think it was a burn off.

DOUGIE actually DID squeeze his hand (a part of it) off , like the ARM TREE told him.

The little girl (in the crowd with her mom) said , "He smelled funny!" Maybe SPIKE IKE has been manufactured from one of the other 3 dog legs.

Janey-E was choking SPIKE IKE while Dougie was squeezing his hand OFF.

Janey-E explaining to cops "...and I kicked him and I punched him!!"

Ha ha! I think Ike looks like the type of guy that don't exactly practice good hygiene so this may be what the girl was referring to. That was my first impression anyways but as we know with Lynch what is on the surface is hardly ever what is really going on so you may be right.

That was my first impression too, but on numerous viewings I really noticed SPIKE IKE's teeth/mouth ( when he came at Dougie with the and Dougie karate chopped his neck ) was doglike- his teeth were jagged /jacked up and I got the impression that he was literally falling apart, MAYBE that is why the ARM TREE knew his hand COULD BE "squeezed" off.
