I said this a while back in another thread,

I think the body in the morgue is that of the real Dougie Jones, and after episode 7, I am inclined to believe this even more.

Even though the prints are Major Briggs, the body is of someone in their late 40's and has only been dead a few days.

I'm confused. Why would Dougie Jones have Briggs' finger prints?

@Invidia said:

Apparently there have also been 15 or 16 other cases where the FINGER PRINTS of BRIGGS were also found.

So you're not the only one confused.

There were other cases where fingerprints were found --- but fingerprints left behind. This is the first time the fingerprints were lifted from an actual body and not from the crime scene

Maybe - but I still think Dougie and the others in Vegas are in the past. So many things point to that part of the story not being present time, the decor of the home, the corded phone on the wall, etc

Dougie's office had a modern flat screen monitor. The coffees the gopher kid in the office gets are modern cups. You don't see every other person smoking cigarettes inside buildings. Dougie's car was a modern Ford. I doubt it is the past.

@Invidia said:

The other guy behind the blinds also has a FLAT SCREEN MONITOR as well, but look at the office of Dougie's BOSS.

He's got a green lamp with some kind of a ceramic animal on it that looks like something from the 50's.

Same with the trophy, and that Boxing POSTER that advertises a ticket price for $1.50.

There's NO COMPUTER on his desk and they're using paper files which would most likely also be something that would be viewed ON SCREEN and kept in some kind of a DATA BASE.

Ha ha! Invidia honey the poster is obviously the boss in his hey day. Looks like he used to be a boxer. He turned out all right as most ex boxers do not have good lives after their boxing careers are kaput. He might not have computer because some older people will refuse to use them especially if they own the company.

And he's also got an ash tray sitting on top of his desk that also looks like something that was made several DECADES ago.

Perhaps. Some things are built to last.

Plus there's also lots of WOOD PANELING in his office that one doesn't see anymore.

Old people have old tastes. I would like to poitn out that the rest of the office looks very modern.

Thus also giving one the impression that it's BOTH the FUTURE and the PAST at the same time?

I don't know. You show me a guy with a old style suit and old style haircut then I will buy into that. Even though Dougie's haircut did look like he came from the 70s. I'll give you that one.

Because we've also seen this kind of thing happen before (the FUTURE and the PAST taking place at the same time) when the BLOODY ANNIE shows up inside of LAURA's bed and tells her COOP's in the LODGE and can't leave and to write it in her DIARY.

And LAURA never MEETS COOP because she's already dead when he arrives.

And Annie also tells LAURA to write down something that doesn't happen until the END of the last ep of S2.

In other words, ANNIE's come from a FUTURE TIME and is back there in the PAST to warn LAURA about what will happen in the FUTURE (thus leaving us with both the FUTURE and the PAST existing AT the SAME TIME in that scene).

And then LELAND/BOB also RIPS the pages out of LAURA'S DIARY where she wrote what ANNIE told her to, so that there'd be no WARNING in it anymore about what happens in the FUTURE TIME.

And on the shelves in the office of Dougie's BOSS there's also what looks like some items he has stored on them that look a little bit larger than an 8 track tape or a VIDEO tape would be.

But they're definitely NOT something more modern or the size of a DVD or a CD.

So what are those black and white objects we see sitting there on the BOOK SHELVES in the office of BOSS?

And in the scene where COOP/BOB wrecks the car there's something very strange that happens.

When we see the DASH BOARD of the car he drives the first time, it looks like something made at least in the 90's.

But when they show it again, it has an OLD FASHIONED looking CAR CLOCK on top of the dash board, one that has HANDS on it (as if it's a older model car that was made prior to the time when clocks had DIGITAL numbers on them).

So perhaps TIME is also all mixed up due to whatever it is that COOP/BOB's done by refusing to go back inside of the LODGE again at the designated time?

And if he's doing something to screw with time, maybe that could also have been a New Born DINOSAUR BABY that ends up inside of the BOX?

Because DINOSAURS are also thought to have been birds.

So maybe that was one that also hadn't gotten it's feathers yet?

Sonny Jim also has a model of a DINOSAUR in his bedroom.

I won'targue with you that there are indeed examples of time travel or at the very least time manipulation, no question. Whether Dougie/Coop is in a different time, meh, I'm still not convinced.

Interesting theory Scorp.

Why would the head of the librarian be on top of it?

How would he know her?

Wasn't she also from SOUTH DAKOTA?

Yes.

And DOUGIE's is suppose to be located in LAS VEGAS?

Yes.

:hi: wave_tone2

I have no idea the answer to any of the other questions, but why not? And as I like to say I could very well be wrong of course, but I am going to think that until they say on the show yes that is definitely without a doubt the body of Major Briggs.

If that is not- just where is the REAL Dougies body?

The show is full of confusion.

Yes I noticed that and it's a great theory ( see the Is it FUTURE or is it PAST??? thread here) and it may be right.

GO HERE to the 46:05 TIME MARK:

http://www.enjoy2u.com/watch.php?vid=c1b4d4c1e

where you see the DARK SUIT COOP as he comes through the electric socket after the YELLOW JACKET DOUGIE ends up inside of the LODGE where he turns into the GOLD ball.

I know the "manufactured" Dougie turns back into a gold ball- because he was not real.

When I say the REAL Dougies body- I am referring to the body of the person that was human Dougie- The ORIGINAL DOUGIE had to have been a person with a body- OR are you saying Evil COOP/BOB INVENTED a Dougie Jones and his WHOLE 40 something YEARS of LIFE TOO? Invented the wife and kid too?

@Invidia said:

What's also interesting is how the woman across the STREET says 119 (which is 911 BACKWARDS).

Yes, she is very interesting. Notice how she yells that out before something happens , like she's psychic or something- MAYBE that's why she does drugs and drinks to TRY and drown out the psychic messages she gets.

So maybe he's in a COMA or something? So maybe COOP also hasn't been CONSCIOUS ever since he came through the wall socket and he's been back?

and still laying on the floor inside of that house?

But maybe JADE also still mailed the ROOM KEY that she found on him (number 315 which also was the last place that we saw COOP when S2 of the show ended) ?

Yes she did mail the key. They showed Benjamin Horne receiving it and saying something like ' Hey, this was from long ago when all that Cooper stuff happened' (something like that- not recalling the actual quote)

So we've got 3 COOP's (or 4 if one also includes COOP/BOB):

  1. YELLOW COAT COOP

  2. DARK SUIT COOP (who lays on the floor when Jade finds him after she takes a shower)

  3. GREEN COAT COOP

And maybe the DARK SUIT COOP is DREAMING about what happens to the GREEN COAT COOP?

Possible!

@Invidia said:

Why the hell didn't the COPS who came to TOW away the DOUGIE LOV CAR that had EXPLODED also check out the inside of the HOUSE?

That way we'd also know if the DARK SUIT COOP is still laying there on the floor inside of it or not!!!

I was JUST going to say something about that- I was going to say wouldn't the cops have checked out the house- oh well.... shrug_tone2

I still think there was an ORIGINAL DOUGIE-human with a real body.
