It seems Jack found a photo album in the basement full of news paper clippings telling of the violence that took place. I wonder if the previous caretaker or Danny's friend Dick left it there to warn him? He told Danny he would be around if he needed him and i wonder if he left it for any caretaker foolish enough to take the job?
