Extra Details: Episode 15 is a 2 part episode, Episode 16 being part 2 Episode 16 in TMDB is incorrectly labelled (when comparing to other sources)
There are 26 episodes in the series, all episodes after 15, don't tie in with other sources, as TMDB only goes to Episode 25

They may have aired it like that on TV, but every box set release has had them as 2 separate episodes. Go on amazon, look at the DVD sets "All 26 episodes from Season 5 of the third 'Star Trek' spin-off series. " not 25 episodes. Official media releases have always separated them. The way a Tv station decides to air them is up to them, it may be different from country to country. You wouldn't combine them if one was at end of series and then the next at start of the next series, as in STNG Best of Both Worlds. In voyager S7 there is one example where the episodes are correctly separated (9/10) like on official media but then the last episode is combined (25/26), a mixture of the 2, again officially media on dvd, they where separated.

When converting dvds into media for Media server, or downloading series episodes they will always be separated. Makes this database difficult to provide meta data.

As per our rules, all series should be listed here based on their original broadcast. The DVD releases are irrelevant.

Given the finding that info is not proving easy, and the advent of modern streaming moving forward. Is it time for a change ? Media Releases are irrelevant ? So they just split the episodes into 2 for shits n giggles. Or is it than a series was commissioned for 26 episodes, and they made 26 episodes.
