Discuss The Langoliers

Hi there, can this please be changed so it is represented as a film as I don't believe it was ever a TV show ... I tried doing this myself but am new to the UI and couldn't figure out how to do it (I assume its a privileged operation anyway).

Many thanks.

It was originally released in two parts, two nights in a row, so it belongs in the TV section. Reviews from when it was released (Entertainment Weekly and Variety) both reference the fact that The Langoliers aired on ABC on May 14 and 15, 1995.

And that is my factoid for today ... I never knew that & probably explains why i also thought it was such a long "film"! Thank you for getting back to me.

Regards.

Yeah, but the problem is that the home release is in a 3 hour omnibus format. I can't get Kodi to actually find the information for The Langoliers on TVDB because of the way it's listed here. I've created an entry for it under "movie" just so I can scrub information for it via Kodi, but I expect that'll get deleted eventually.

Unless the entry is changed to reflect that the home media release was combined into a 3 hour movie, the only people this entry is useful for are those who have rips of the original 1995 airing.

The original release is what matters to TMDB. We did allow miniseries in the film section, but we decided it was too much duplication of information to maintain. You can try a NFO file, you’d have to look it up for Kodi.
