When a school bully forces Dustin to do his homework for him, Zoey confronts the bully in public, embarrassing Dustin in the process and further enraging the bully. So Dustin decided that Zoey is babying him too much. He goes to Chase and Michael for advice and tries to tell Zoey that he can defend himself by his own. Meanwhile, Zoey, Nicole, Dana, Chase, and Michael try to hide their dog, Elvis away from their dorm advisor, since it's against school rules for having pets on campus. Logan did not appear in this episode.

Dustin fühlt sich von Zoey bemuttert. Richtig peinlich wird es, als einer der Schulrabauken von ihm verlangt, er möge für ihn die Hausaufgaben machen, worauf Zoey öffentlich für Dustin eintritt. Als wenn er sich nicht selbst wehren könnte! Seine Freunde Chase und Michael machen ihm klar, dass er genau dies tun muss. Und tatsächlich: Dustin fordert den Schläger zum Zweikampf heraus. Um eine Prügelei zu verhindern, zieht Zoey hinter den Kulissen die Fäden. Sie sorgt dafür, dass Dustins Widersacher vom Hausmeister eine peinliche Strafe aufgebrummt bekommt. Von nun an lässt sich Dustin nichts mehr gefallen.

Por su alta inteligencia, Dustin está en clase de matemáticas en un grupo superior. Un chico llamado Kit Finch se aprovecha de él pidiéndole que le haga todos sus trabajos, a lo que el lo hace por miedo. Cuando Zoey se entera va con Kit y lo amenaza, dejando a Dustin en vergüenza y haciendo que él se enoje con ella. Todos le dicen a Zoey que trata a Dustin como bebé. Zoey no sabe qué hacer.

Zoey defiende a su hermano Dustin de un bravucón que lo obliga a hacer todas sus tareas, luego de lo cual Dustin se enoja con Zoey, ya que eso solo lo empeora. Mientras, Chase y Michael tienen un perro al que llaman Elvis, pero lo esconden en la habitación de las chicas debido a las reglas de la academia.
