In this episode the wife of Captain Leland Stottlemeyer, Karen Stottlemeyer (played by Glenne Headly), asks Monk for help in solving the suspicious death of Miles Holling, one day before his 115th birthday. The only time I can remember that Leland showed his emotions when reconciling with Karen.
