Do episodes need to be split?

It looks like the episodes are listed in groups, meaning episode one is actually 3 episodes. It even says so in the show description. Should each of these be split out? I think they tell one story so I'm not sure. Also should seasons be added? Other places I've looked have at least put the 50s episodes in one season, and the 1960s episodes in another.
