I really hated the whole Jim/Sam fiasco, starting in S4E7, apparently the result of David Conrad's thinking he'd leave the show, but then ultimately staying. This really bugged me for many episodes, until Sam finally realized he was really Jim inside. Some connected with the show tried to claim it was always planned that way, but I think they just goofed up. After that, I thought the series never had the punch that it had before this mess. Anyone else agree/disagree?

Yes, that season was a disaster. It nearly ruined the show for me. But I guess they did their best to try to fix it.
