He played a character that was usually mute. Figures. It would have been very unlike him to play a dramarically glib character in a drama. Like James Darren in 'The Guns of Navarone'.
PS Speaking of TGON. Actually Darren could have been far more glib in that film as a very good director can obtain a good performance from anyone.
