Item: Minuscule: The Private Life of Insects
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Last year the order was changed. I finally just got around to renaming files to match that episode order and now someone came along and changed it again. Could someone verify the order and lock it so it doesn't keep changing. Thanks.

I have to agree with this report. After editting SK episode names during september 2021 (based on original/EN name) it took me few months to prepare (remux, rename) my local files only to find out that in October someone changed the original episode order. I think we can all adapt with our local files and even with online episode names translations (ideally ONCE), so I too kindly ask to verify/fix the order and lock it to prevent future changes.
I can't say whether the previous order was correct or incorrect, I can only say it almost perfectly matched some russian DVDs I was able to get my hands on. As of now, mainly season 02 seems to be messed up after October updates with possibly multiple duplicates based on names/translations/screenshots (or tranlastions/screenshots not matching original episode), e.g.:
Thanks.

This series is a French series (produced by Futurikon). Consequently, it should be listed based on its original French broadcast. This one took place on France 2 for the 1st season, and on France 5 for the 2nd season.
The episodes are now listed in the correct order. We are just missing the date of the France 5 broadcast of the "Hop-là" episode. So, it may be slightly amended if we find this date. In the meantime, this episode is listed at the end of the season.

This may help with "Hop On/ Hop-La". I believe it may have orginally been called "En voiture Simone" after the french driving school of the same name. You can view this episode here (https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpcg4o )- En voiture Simone and when I check the contents against my DVD version which has it listed as Hop On its the same short/episode ie poor male butterfly getting collected by 2 cars while trying to cross road to see the female butterfly.
From what i can tell from IMDB and a few french TV websites it orginally aired as episode 7.....given thats going to royally mess everyones libraries up I wont make a change but rather leave this info here for a mod to make that call:

The episode "En voiture Simone" is already listed in the season 2 as episode S02E29. It was first broadcasted on France 5 on September 20, 2011 as recorded in the Inatheque. (We list the episodes in the order of their original broadcast, not in production order).
If "Hop Là" is effectively just an alternate title for "En voiture Simone", it just have to be removed.

I think your spot on, would it be worth giving it a dual english title? Like Ive seen with some of the others? "Catch me if you can/Hop On"?

We need to find with which title it was originally released in an English speaking country.
The only thing that make me hesitant was the overview listed in the Inathèque entry, which doesn't match the content of the episode as it visible on DailyMotion. But, taking in account that the DalyMotion video has been added by an official channel, and that the Inatheque overview is tagged "[Source iMedia]" which indicate that it has been added later (with a possible mismatch due to the multiple numberings), I think that you are right that this is the same episode. Even on the TeleLoisirs page you have linked above, the image doesn't match the content of the episode.

Season 2 seems to be quiet the jumble across various movie and tv sites, different english speaking countries seem to have also recieved different title names for some episodes, which could possibly be errors on those dvd's with name translation..... I'll keep doing some digging myself I did drop an email across to the minuscule creators in france but no reply yet, I might have better luck with there facebook page.
If I find any further info i'll add it back here :)

I'm attempting to dig through wayback machine and find the original airdates and names on France5 channel but not sure how well that's going to work as the TV guide seems to change quiet a bit each day For example I dug up these:
You can see Yule log ("Bûche de Noël") listed on the below page at the above dates and times, I'm also finding entries appear and disappear depending on the backup date that the wayback machine did:
https://web.archive.org/web/20121223040122/http://www.france5.fr:80/programme-tv
nope >> I guess it does show that the date info on this wiki page might be accurate I haven't had the opportunity to cross check with anywhere else. https://the-minuscule.fandom.com/wiki/Season_2 << nope not accurate
I'm probably putting way to much effort into this lol :)
*Edit: *
I think this shows the dates on the TMDB are probably accurate - I can't paste images in but it shows wayback machine archived the France2 TV website on Jun 30 2011 and at that date they had a little square for minuscule stating it was been shown daily at 05:30. Doesn't help much with finding the missed names/same episodes but figured since I stumbled onit it was worth noting. https://web.archive.org/web/20110630100712/http://programmes.france2.fr/series-et-fictions

For the French broadcast, we have already all the correct data. They were available on the Inathèque, the French site of the legal depot.
The doubts are only for some English titles.
