In Legacy S1 E2 at the start it apparently would violate client-attorney privilege for Bosch to view a video of a Franzen interview because he is not Chandler's employee. Chandler then says it's going to take a while to make coffee and leaves the room, leaving Bosch unsupervised, and of course he views the video. (Later in the season Chandler gives Bosch one dollar to make him an employee.) In Bosch S2 E10, the narcotics "snitch" files are locked, but the police lieutenant tells Bosch he will take a while to get coffee, throws the key on the desk, and when he is out of sight Bosch opens the file cabinet.
