They keep falling into the same traps and self-destructive behavior. "Power Couples" have targets on their backs. Don't become a Power Couple! Idiots.

I think a fair number of the contestants are wanna be actors and models, and will do anything that increases their camera time. Being part of a couple, especially an attractive couple, accomplishes that.
