I understand, but the way the show is listed if you were to watch it shows 14 episdoes, not 11 , and then special episodes.

Other sources confirm that there is one season with 14 episodes. I use TRAK TV, and it lists the other episodes as specials.

I also checked Hulu, and a screenshot from Firefly shows it all under one season. If you use Trakt or a similar service that relies on TMDB, you might only see 11 episodes. I believe the correct order should match how it's presented here. https://i.imgur.com/HJ9ZztR.jpg

As indicated in the previous content report, these 3 episodes weren't broadcasted during the first run of the series. Consequently, they should be listed as special episodes. All our listing are based on the original broadcast of the series.

If you want them in the intended order, you need to use this episode group.

Also another thing, the intended and other list are all not correct. If you look you could see this tmdb needs to be updated to what is here. this is what everyone seems to be watching

The intended order is correct. This is also the order listed by Hulu (your image above). IMDB is not an official source.

If a service like TRAKT uses TMDB for season information, will it use the INTENDED ORDER? Because right now, while I'm looking at the APP still shows s1, consisting of 11 episodes and then it has the specials separate.

Another question, what are official sources if imdb is not considered one? Just so I know for in the future.

You need to ask this to the support of Trakt.

The best source is the information from the original broadcaster at the time of the release. You can read a little more here.

Season 1 should contain 14 episodes. In "Extra", the first 3 episodes should be removed as they belong to season 1. See also the information on wikipedia.de:

That is not satisfactory. I've read everywhere that season 1 contains 14 episodes. That should also be shown here. Furthermore, the 14th episode is missing in "special". There it would be episode 4. As per our rules, the episodes that weren't broadcasted during the first run of the series should be listed in the specials season. This is a mandatory rule.

I think it's better to do it like everywhere else. Season 1 has 14 episodes. Bluerays are also sold with 14 episodes of season 1.

The question is not what you think is better or not, but what the rules of the site are saying.
