It seems that a number of people are getting caught out by Firefly because the aired date doesn't match the DVD/BluRay ordering, e.g.: https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/v7py7i/change_the_order_of_episodes_firefly/
For me, it works because I have the Display Order in Jellyfin set to "Absolute". If I set it to "DVD", which in many ways sounds like it makes more sense as that is where they are from, it does not work. If you created a "DVD Order" Episode Group that matched the "Intended Order", would that then mean it worked for people to select that option as well?

An episode group can't have multiple types.
You need to ask the Jellyfin support how they select the ordering they use.

Understood, but however they are selecting it, they would not know whether the DVD ordering should be the Aired Date or Intended Order unless TMDB says which corresponds to the DVD, would they?
