Discuss Family Guy

100th Episode Special is showing as episode 1.

It should be in fact Episode 12

Additionally, Blue Harvest should be Episode 1 & 2.

"Blue Harvest" was advertised in this press release as a single double-length episode. I quote : "and a special "Star Wars" episode of FAMILY GUY (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT)"

100th Episode Special is showing as episode 1.

It should be in fact Episode 12

Taking in account that "Blue Harvest" was originally broadcasted as one single episode and that an episode can't be split inside an episode group, this 100th episode should be listed as episode 11.

Original broadcast is irrelevant in this case. This is the Disney Plus order so should replicate that service. Physically checking Disney Plus, Blue Harvest is listed as two parts.

As indicated, original broadcast is relevant, as episodes could only be listed in an episode group the same way as they were originally broadcasted.

Technical limitations of TMDB noted. The episode numbering is still incorrect though.

My suggestion would be to number the episode correctly per Disney Plus order, and leave the episode 2 spot empty. Make a note on the Episode grouping that S06E02 has been left blank intentionally to mitigate technical limitations of groupings while maintaining the correct order and numbering.

In its current state, it is not the Disney Plus order and numbering, thus is pretty much useless to anyone using it as such. For example in Emby, all the artwork for S06 has been displaced by 1 episode as a result of the previous solution.

Leaving E02 blank in this instance would be the most ideal solution.

Leaving an episode empty in an episode group is also not possible.

All this should be noted in the group description then. Something to the effect of: “due to technical limitations, episode number for Season 6 does not align to Disney Plus. Season 6 episodes are all displaced by 1 due to Episode 1 & 2 being combined as a single episode”.

Feel free to do it.

I didn't realise I could. I've made the description change.

I can't seem to do the episode ordering change. Are you able to do that?

"The Family Guy 100th Episode Special" that currently sits at E01, needs to be move to the E11 position.

This is already done since my first answer in this discussion.

I thought that you were talking of another change.
