This is of no use as that doesn't prevent users to post new messages in it. The button is simply labelled "Re-open and reply" instead of "Reply".

Yes, it's true. Because your rules and your choices are wrong. Please correct as requested by the majority of the community.

I agree, this seems to be the solution to this problem. Keep the special episodes in season 0, or in The Final Season with their own episode group if people wish, and put the incoming episodic format ones in The Final Season. They should fulfill the numbered episode requirement that the special episodes failed; episode 88, 89 and 90 are now listed on https://shingeki.tv/final/story/ instead of the specials

If the administrator insists on being so stubborn, please allow users to create their own series for editing. I've had enough of your lousy rules.

this doesn't make sense, the rules are to prevent everything from going into chaos, if you don't like these rules you have two things to do:

Yes, rules help prevent chaos and I think it is wrong to undermine them. Nevertheless, when it comes to the rules, the senses should remain sharpened and not leave the ground of reality. Exceptions, where necessary, should be narrow and limited. Here ("Attack on Titan") in particular, interests meet more diversely than anywhere else. The clearer the better, but other perspectives - which may go into virtual doubles (split vs. special) - must also be considered, otherwise you lose the clarity of the rules.
PS: another content with impact: "Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector"; "Digimon Adventure Tri" OVA's; "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train"; "Re:Zero" S1 (25 episodes (ca 25 min) vs. 13 episodes special cut (ca. 50 min)) etc ...

So, can we add E29~E35 for Season 4?

No, as they are just an alternative cut of the original broadcast.

Your rules are causing confusion and chaos, as most users are struggling to locate the last two episodes. After reviewing the comments in this thread, it appears that these two episodes do not align with the "unnumbered episodes" rule. Part 1 covers pisodes 88 to 90, and Part 2 covers episodes 91 to 94, which are officially part of the final season on the official site. Just add these two episodes into the final season like IMDb did.

This wasn't the case at the time of the original broadcast, when they were broadcasted as 2 unnumbered episodes.

is it really not possible to move the last 2 chapter into season 4? I mean yeah, rule is rule but isnt it better if we can adapt the rule for the better rather than forcing rigid rule on something that majority of people here agreed is bad implementation. just my opinion tho.

I just joined and saw this mess. TMDB should be able to handle the 'complicated' release structure of Attack on Titan. The Final Chapters – Special 1 and Special 2 - are part of the main story and should not be listed as standalone specials. Placing them under "Extras" is extremely confusing.
Apparently, both Special 1 and Special 2 exist in two formats: a "Special Version" and a multi-part episode version. How should this be handled?
The current release dates of AoT are from 2013 to 2022, but including the final two episodes it would be 2013 to 2023.
A good overview of the release formats can be found on the English Wikipedia page: List_of_Attack_on_Titan_episodes.
