Didn't know "Team Howard" has its own national day of celebration. Guess, because, NASA has a lot quieter profile now than in days gone by. Pretty sure no one would argue with the thinking that it ain't the "Rock Star" it used to be.

Speaking of profile--not trying to take anything away from Shepard and his place in US history--but kinda surprised TPTB didn't op for the date of the Moon Landing instead.
