Well, not to my knowledge, but by passing this legislation, cats will know for sure that it is legal.

This legislation could really apply to Zazzles, Enrico Fine-man, Oppenheimer, Tito, Marlon or even Jackie.

I suppose some sort of home-by-home written agreement could be a possible solution. Just something to make it clear to cats that toilet use IS indeed acceptable.

Now this is the kind of thinking that I like! Any good law needs several articles. Article 1 will address flushing and Article 2 will address the seat. I think flushing will be a must but I'm not sure they'll be able to get the seat up to begin with so putting it down should not be an issue.

Once the law has been enacted and we find everything that is wrong with it there will be several amendments.

If your cat is a gentleman, he WILL lift the seat. That is common courtesy

Then article 2 had better mention some sort of a cane to help him prop it up. Of course, any proper gentleman will have a cane anyway, and a top hat.

Maybe a brandy snifter, as well.

You do know that these cats will just shred these agreements and toss them around the house then just stare at you until they get a treat for just being cats

I really think it needs to be something more binding than a roommate agreement anyway, like an actual law.
