Sorry, it was the first thing I thought of. But you are probably right, Fred would have chased him out with the bat. Fred & Sheldon are on my top ten list of characters I cannot stand.

If Leonard couldn't drive Sheldon to class Lamont would have had to drive him in the old junk truck. I doubt Sheldon would have minded as long as Lamont agreed to play a scientific guessing game on the way.

Fred would call Sheldon a big dummy then Lamont and Leonard would commiserate with each other over having to live with big jerks like Fred and Sheldon.

I never thought about it, but Leonard and Lamont do have that in common. They're both long suffering chumps who enable (and love) their difficult housemates.

I wasn't familiar with Geraldine so I Googled her. It looks like Flip Wilson did that character. But maybe sometimes Geraldine was on an episode where Redd Foxx was present.
