A Long time ago in a kingdom by the sea there lived a fair maiden called Lemon-Bell Lee. This kingdom was ruled by the kindly King Tim who the forbade the fair maiden from learning to swim. Which was kind of silly since she was a mermaid

King Tim said to the lovely Lemon Bell Lee, "If you swim to the land things will get out of hand. Stay here with me in our kingdom in the sea."
But would she listen? Of course not....

It should be noted that Tim and his buccaneers only keep the mermaids out of the water occasionally. They have to go out and clean up the junk that gets thrown in the water. Also, if they eat too much popcorn, they have to wait 20 minutes. Otherwise, they may get cramps.

We do this because we care.

You might call this "extra credit".

I will continue the story but if permissible, I think I will dispense with the rhyming. Only because I'm nowhere near as good at it as our friend Z.

After dropping the popcorn off at King Tim's Castle, Belle (who added an "e" to her name to look more feminine) swam home to sleep. (Swimming the ocean for constant popcorn runs takes a lot out of you.)

The next morning she arose refreshed and ready to head to work. It just so happens that not only was Belle an excellent swimmer and popcorn fetcher, but she was also owner of the small island kingdom's only rototiller replacement part and and gourmet chocolate store.

As soon as she unlocked the door, in walked King Tim. Coyly she smiled and asked, "Would you like to see some of my parts?"

Rototiller maintenance is a sensitive subject, I realize. But I can't tell this story alone.

Not even when you know that there is someone there who is really pretty, really smart and a lot of fun.

I've heard about those rototiller "parties" The start with a few "innocent" discs and before you know it you're turning over the back 40. And just why may I ask does a mermaid need a rototiller in the first place?
