There could have been some money, but there are already free Reverse Image Search Apps and apps specifically for certain things, so enough competition.

I thought that the episode was boring, especially when you compare it with the one about the 'Penny Blossoms'. On the plus side: no Amy and Bernadette.

Penny Blossoms was one of the best episodes of the series in my opinion. I agree that the shoe app was boring. Penny probably also quickly lost focus and interest in trying to build the catalog of shoes with Sheldon and gave up. That's where I'll put my money.

Penny Blossoms was one of the best episodes of the series in my opinion. I agree that the shoe app was boring. Penny probably also quickly lost focus and interest in trying to build the catalog of shoes with Sheldon and gave up. That's where I'll put my money.

Once the app was available, there would be other people helping to build the database too. And it just would have been another little bit in the show where the guys do their equation app that goes nowhere, meanwhile Penny gets a nice chunk of change for the shoe app.
