So we already knew that Sheldon and Penny (ok the actors who played them) have new shows/movies, but now Amy??? (OK, the actor who played her.) They're not supposed to do that.

Amy or Mayim? Why? Are they all going to have shows now? Wasn't there talk of a Penny or Howard spin off too.

You see, it doesn't matter to me that she was in Blossom because I never watched that show, so it doesn't count. But all actors who acted in a show I DID watch need to ask my permission to be in another show, and the answer will always be "no".

It is based on the popular British BBC TV sitcom "Miranda (2009-2015)", starring the English comedian and actress Miranda Hart.
I think that only certain parts of the plot will be copied. As for the typical British humour: that's impossible to translate into American laughs.
Miranda is also taller - 6' 1" (1.86 m) - than the average woman and she uses that very effectively in her slapstick comedy.
Here's the first episode of her show (ignore the Spanish subtitles); it's 30 minutes long and in this episode she goes on a first date.
Tags: joke shop, lunch with the girls, mistaken for a man, dating, marriage, babies.

These ambitious actors have each started their own production company. Jim Parsons' That's Wonderful Productions and Mayim Bialik's Sad Clown Productions are producing the new show "Call Me Kat" together with BBC Studios, Fox Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television.
Kaley Cuoco's company Yes, Norman Productions, together with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, produced the TV miniseries "The Flight Attendant (2020)", in which she plays the main character, flight attendant Cassandra Bowden.
Side notes:
This is quite a clever way for actors to ensure that they continue getting roles after the end of a successful television series.

All I'm saying is that each of these actors made like a billiondy trillion dollars per episode so why they need to do anything beyond the Big Bang Theory except for lay on a unicorn shaped float in their fancy swimming pool eating marshmallows is beyond me.
