And at the end of the episode Howard and Raj found the chair and carried it back into Sheldon's apartment.

It would've been an interesting Halloween episode with a chair that always returns...

They must have discovered their mistake quickly - maybe even on the way up the stairs - because I don't think it was ever seen in Sheldon and Leonard's place.

Makes you think about what a casual thing picking up such "treasure" used to be before Covid-19. Anyone on here whose first place didn't contain at least one found-treasure...raise your hand.

Perhaps there is a couch somewhere that matches the chair. Sheldon would certainly not be amused if his couch was replaced.

Rental units are usually emptied out and cleaned by the landlords.

But most of my found treasures have been stuff in dumpsters that other people threw away. In many cases it was probably the landlords just getting rid of everything after tenants got evicted for not paying, or went to jail for one thing or another...

Perfectly working computers, laptops, monitors like the one I'm using now and others... Phones... Tablets...

As possessive as he gets when someone just sits in 'his spot'....he probably would have to be sedated!
