ON ANOTHER NOTE: There are real, live pet fashion shows...
Some shows are held because, no doubt, people are crazy; and then there others held as a way to fund-raise for animal rescue projects. Animal rescue I can get with; but, those folks parading around with their pets in matching costumes
My cat would go oops upside my head if I tried to put an outfit on her.
"Oops upside my head", Isn't that a Britany Spears song?
Lovey Dovey is the best dressed/undressed
Oops Upside Your Head is a Gap Band song. Oops I Did it Again is a Britney Spears song. Oops I Crapped My Pants was a SNL skit. And Oops Why Did I Just Answer This Lemons Thread is a Znex song.
Actually caught this announcement on the news...and it reminded me of this Thread. (Guess cat lovers have more pull than dog lovers because don't remember dogs getting such a plug on their day.)
Anyway, no hard feelings; and to celebrate the occasion, a quote about why cats are so haughty:
“In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.” - Terry Pratchett
Happy Day!
FOR THE RECORD: I’m not down on cats…cuteness IS its own reward…it just that I prefer pets that earns their keep.

Many cats do earn their keep, look up the "Working Cats Program" for example. There are also videos about it on youtube.
And even "house cats" may work harder than people realize. They may be dealing with stuff that the people aren't even aware of. Except such as when they wake up to find the cat showing them the scorpion it caught and killed before it could sting anyone.

Caught a segment on the news of a Halloween costume contest for dogs.
I'll never be able to look at Batman or Robin the same way again.
