I didn't watch the whole thing but it's always nice to see Sheldon with his loom. I think the fact that they progressed is what made some people think the show became boring.
Since Beverley’s first line is a part of one of my favorite Beverly-Penny tête-à-tête, seeing it made me . In this first encounter in the lobby, we have Smiling-Perky-Penny walking up the stairs with Beverly. But, by the time they get to Leonard’s door Beverly has “shrunk” Smiling-Perky-Penny into Crying-Distraught-Daughter . When Beverly said “Tell me about it.”…I knew it was all going downhill from there for SPP.
Sometimes I think we don't give Christine Baranski enough credit...she was fantastic in that role. I checked her profile page (you know where); so many nominations...with too few wins.

Thanks.
I’m
with the two commenters who said:
Doesn’t have to be a movie, movie…an hour-long reunion-type episode would do nicely.

Any other character - not on the video - with first and last lines?

Yes, Christine Baranski made a stiff emotionless Beverly, an interesting engaging and even fun character.

I think the writing also had something to do with it.
