Without doubt the scenes on the stairs are quite hilarious. It is even funnier when you realize that there is only one floor and the actors walk up and down the same two flights of stairs to create the illusion of multiple floors.

My favorite stairwell scene is the one where Penny encounters Leonard in his "Slu#" walk...as he returns from a night of making 'the-beast-with-two-backs' with the rich university donor.

Thanks...especially for adding the Cafeteria clip.
Poor embarrassed Leonard…when everyone stood up and
. Surprised that little tryst with the donor didn't make him aces with the ladies at the school. You'd think they would’ve been lining up…trying to find out what those $20M “skills” were all about.

The ladies at school should've already asked that about Leonard, seeing as Leslie, Penny and Prya also slept with him. Of course, they might not have known, but with all the gossip and social media, I doubt anything could stay secret.

Well for one thing, they say in that episode that it was the donor lady who had the skills, not Leonard.

For some reason the only stairway scene I can remember right now is the one where Sheldon had eaten too many cruciferous vegetables and fell down the stairs and farted. But that doesn't make me sound very impressive. Pretend I gave a better example.

There really weren't many stairway scenes where the stairs actually had anything to do with that point of the episode. One would be in the very first episode where, when Sheldon and Leonard are going up the stairs, Sheldon mentions his research showing that if a step is off by as little as 2mm, most people will trip.
Much, MUCH later, Sheldon is trying to rush his Apple II back to the restaurant for Steve Wozniak to autograph it, when he falls and smashes it.
