FORGOT TO ADD...
This is, no doubt, food-for-thought for all the gloomers-and-doomers out there. You know; all the naysayers who were sounding off about how being so closely identified with the character “Sheldon” was going to tank Parsons' acting career.

Glad to hear they're doing well and also to see that Jim is not having trouble breaking out of the Sheldon mold. I figured he might be typecast as such for all eternity.

It was such an iconic character and stellar performance, that in all fairness, I guess I have to admit that accepting Parsons in other roles could be a lot harder for diehards who only know him, acting-wise, as Sheldon.
Think it would be a lot easier for those who are familiar with Parsons' previous/other roles to “see” beyond Sheldon.
And then there are the non-TBBTers …since they didn’t watch Parsons on the show, they can enjoy him in whatever they see him in without predisposition.

Checked out King's profile page (won't say where
) and was surprised...(but, not surprised) to see her list of nominations and win.
Watched her in the series “Watchmen” (2019); great show and she is outstanding (Emmy nod). But, my favorite TV role (sorry, 'Ms. Davis') is her turn as “Erika Murphy” in “The Leftovers” (2014-2017). She was amazing (can't believe she didn't get an Emmy nod); the show was amazing. Too bad it didn’t last longer…I think it was ahead of its time and/or it overestimated the attention span of the viewing public.
Anyway...
Here is wishing her
on the big night!
