When I get a salad, I basically eat the toppings off (chicken, cheese, etc.) under a coat of ranch or bleu cheese dressing and maybe a leaf or two of lettuce if it gets caught in the tines of the fork during a chicken bite. So really, I might as well have just eaten ranch-covered chicken. But because it was on a bed of lettuce, I feel like I've eaten a health food. So my question is, does lettuce absolve us of the poor nutritional value of what we place atop it?
Also, are salads boring? There were few meal scenes where Leonard wasn't eating a salad. And Leonard was arguably the most boring character on the show. So was that a writing technique to say that Leonard was boring?
By something akin to the transitive property, if you eat chicken with ranch dressing off of Leonard does that absolve us of the sin of fatty eating?

Since my attention span is shorter than that video, I did a quick Google search and I'm not so sure about this one. I think I'll pass and stick with blue cheese and ranch. If I feel like being healthy I guess I'll just eat a Greek salad with no dressing. I learned something new tonight, though!
