Covid 19 is a serious virus and this thread is in no way meant to detract from that. But I bet we could all use some good news. Name one good thing you've learned from this experience or just something good that has happened to you this week.
For me, it has forced me to cook at home a lot more. I was guilty in the past of getting take out way too often and I felt bad about serving my kids so much takeout food. Now they're seeing that Mom can actually cook! That makes me feel good.

Gorgeous weather; so came out to water some plants; neighbors were out and about walking, talking, playing with kids. In spite of the fact that everyone was wearing masks, it was such a serene scene; no hustle, no bustle. It made me smile. When do we ever slow down long enough to "smell the roses"?

Yes the beautiful weather out the window certainly helps to lift the spirits! And when the pollen dies down I hope to spend more time out in it!

The populace gets to see UpClose if the people they elected to represent them have the right stuff. Not everyone can lead in a time of crisis. Once these long lines at the stores are over, I expect even longer ones at the voting booths...at every level.

That will be interesting, but a lot of people will be voting to replace someone who they don't think did well enough, with someone who did NOTHING AT ALL. That is not a recipe for success, or even improvement. But a lot of people are just that short-sighted.

I early-voted on Monday, and there was no line at all. But I live in a small town now.
