Best is Lonely Larry. Poor Larry.

Worst is Bert and Captain Sweatpants because even when they distance they are both so Brobnagian they are still close to you.

Social distance, Bah Humbug I say. I don't stand too close to people anyways. But I'm not going to get a measuring tape out when I'm in a crowd. I do have to say that my robe, pointy stick, and Venetian plague doctors beak mask do clear out a crowd.

I think that Sheldon would do best with social distancing (in fact he'd insist on it) as long as he had Amy or Leonard with him. (They'd have to test negative for the virus first.) He'd need someone with him to cater to his every whim.

Raj would do worst. He's clingy.

I am watching my sons play Mario Odyssey and have decided that to keep people away from me, I'm going to start carrying a chain chomp.

So THAT'S what those things are! I always thought they were scary toucans!

The best at social distancing would be Beverly. Since that's pretty much one of her usual qualities, not much of an adjustment would be needed on her part. After all, it took her 30+ years to hug her son.

The worst at social distancing would be Mary Cooper. She is such a keeper-of-the faith that she would want to hold hands and pray with/for everyone she meets; probably with a few hugs thrown in as needed.

How am I doing? So far so good. Sheltering-in-place (with occasional visits from FedEx and UPS).

I'm glad you're doing well FKA! Cabin Fever is starting to set in here, but we know we're doing the right thing.

Thanks.

Other than the cabin fever glad you and yours also are hanging in there.

A lot of the feedback that's coming in from Italy is from people who wished they had listen and followed through on the guidelines that were issued.

As for cabin fever around here; well it’s spring, so, there is a lot of house-stuff and vegetable garden stuff and flower bed stuff to get done. As long as there are things that must be done, cabin fever won’t be an issue. Of course, if the chores run out before the virus runs its course, then; I'm absolving myself of all responsibility when it comes to what could happen.

I've heard that the frogs (French) just wouldn't stop hugging and kissing each other, until there was a pretty serious crackdown. If they end up avoiding the fate of Italy, it will be because they were lucky, not smart. It seems that Italy had a lot more travel with China in general, and Wuhan in particular. So that really would make it luck, not smart.

Haven't gotten COVID-19 yet. Starting to wish I would. I lost both of my jobs as a result, and the only way Uber and Lyft help you with losing money is if you contract the disease. No help for people who work in cities with "stay inside" mandates. cry

Know what you are feeling. I wasn’t always a salaried employee. At one time I worked for an owner who employed a lot of cash-and-carry, OTB employees. Then, just-like-that, the place was shut down for three months. No unemployment insurance, no union benefits, no nest egg, no nothing.

I'm sorry Murph. This is such a hard time for so many people. I'll be thinking of you and please come on here anytime you feel like it to let us know how you are. We care about you.

Sorry, I shouldn't be ranting like this on a board. It's not cool.

No it's cool Murph. Rant all you want. Blow off some steam among us. It's good for you and we understand

Rant away Murph. It's not like we're going anywhere.

Are there places where you are not allowed to go outside at all?

Our governor recommended going for walks to get exercise. And there are a lot of volunteer charities handing out free food.

Stick with us Murph, we'll hold electronic hands.

It's basically "stay home" in Illinois unless it's to get food or if your job is considered essential. I was substitute teaching and ridesharing when this hit, so obviously both of those jobs are kaput right now. Been looking up data entry jobs you can work from home. Maybe I'll get lucky.

And thanks for all of the kind words, everybody. hugging
