Apspriest The Big Bang Theory

TBBT guys played Dungeons and Dragons, and I've seen it played on other shows (Freaks and Geeks and Stranger Things). I've always felt like an outsider looking in during such scenes. It's like a secret world that I know nothing about.

1.Have you ever played D&D?

2.If you enjoy it, what appeals to you most about it?

3.What is your favorite game if only board games and card games are considered? (No new-fangled computer or video games.)

Me: Clue

4.What game takes the longest to play in your own experience: D&D, Risk or Monopoly?

Me: I've only played Risk and Monopoly, and I'm not sure I've ever gotten to the end of either.

Instead of a dungeon master there is a monkey master. You roll the 12 sided dice and the scenerio is that you are in the cereal aisle. What do you choose ?

I choose the Corn Pops. No the Sugar Smacks! No both! We open both boxes there in the aisle eating handful after handful until we have a sufficient sugar high. You roll the dice and now we're in the canned meat aisle. What do you choose?

The only canned meat I know is Spam. What others are there. Canned meat scares me.

Well there are always Vienna Sausages.

Quick tangent: What if there was a game that instead of called Candy Land was called Processed Meat Land? Your game pieces would stop in Vienna Sausage Forest, Spam Swamp and Treet Trail?

Cinnamon would always win and eat the board and all the pieces.

Your prize at the end of Processed Meat Land would be a free colon cancer screening after all the nitrites you ingested.

Sardines. Viennas. "Potted Meat" (which can be a mixture of preserved tripe and various other "variety meats").

As for the cereal aisle-- don't forget the toy! Remember the toys? If you get a toy at the bottom of your chosen cereal, that could lead to yet other realms in "Primates and Produce" (a name which I love, by the way).

My first job out of college was in a Produce department. I think I might be good at P & P. When given first choice, I'd pick the kumquats. Always got to go with the kumquats. If not them, the lychees!

Tripe! That's what part of Processed Meat Land could be called! Tripe Trail!

Since this is a BBT board...The toy at the bottom of a box of Fruit Loops is a Howard the Astronaut figure which when combined with a toy rocket ship in another cereal box gives you the power to .....?

Orange sounds navel too. Or that disco song "In the Navel".

Great movie, very funny and serious too.

Written/produced by Hugh Wilson, the man behind WKRP In Cincinnati.

Howard the Astronaut + Rocket Ship = the ability to journey to the Planet of the Half Brothers and the Mothers of Your Children Who Sound Like Your Mother (PHBMYCWSLYM) ("Fib-My-Kwis-Limb???!!!), where you can get extra points by exploring yet other dry goods/canned meat/produce aisles and get bonus points before returning to the original P&P realm.

I hope they have some Velveeta Shells & Cheese there. It's like liquid gold. Or is that one of those prizes you only get if you're on like level 55 or something?

Come on dice. I need to get to the coffee aisle. Bernie needs her espresso.

Well while you're busy shirking your responsibilities of picking a potted meat and trying to run off to the coffee aisle, I'm going to say that if I were in the fruit aisle, I would pick a kiwi!

There used to be a poster around here named kiwi and she probably would have loved this game if she hadn't disappeared in the great flood of February 2017.

Vienna sausage it is. Yum!
