Discuss The Big Bang Theory

Think about it all the women on the show are absolute ballbusting bitches. They constantly insult and belittle the men, emasculating them dozens of times every episode.

Bernadette constantly tells Howard that his hobby of magic is stupid and childish. (Try telling that to Penn and Teller or David Copperfield.).

Amy constantly belittles and insults Sheldon for liking model trains, comic books and science fiction.

Penny constantly belittles Leonard not only for his interests in comic books and science fiction but she even ridicules his job telling him that physics is "boring" and refusing to allow him to even talk about his work.

At no point is the difference in interests between the men and women treated as anything other than an excuse for the women to accuse the men of being childish and stupid.

The worst example if this is the episode where Sheldon is expected to give up seeing The Force Awakens on opening day because somehow Amy's birthday is more important. It is simply taken for granted by every character that this is the only decent thing for him to do, even though there are at least half a dozen different compromises that would allow both of them to get what they want, possible compromises that are never even discussed because the assumption is that what Amy wants is important but what Sheldon wants doesn't matter at all.

And cowardly men who are pushed around by domineering, emasculating women is a common theme in Chuck Lorre's comedies, for example, Alan and Charlie's mother on 'Two and. a Half Men", or frankly the mother of every male character on every show he has ever made.

Chuck Lorre clearly has a serious problem with women.

Did anyone ever get a massage on the show? Or see a masseuse? No. Well then that makes the show incredibly massaganistic. That's all I have to say.

I think you are confused. Clearly they re referencing Bill Nyes elderly spinster aunt Miss Agnes Nye.

"Howard gives Penny a massage.".

But he's not giving her a massage, he's using a pumice stone on the rough spots on her feet. This is a really disgusting thing to do in the living room, there is even a bowl of popcorn (?) on the table in front of them! So gross!

Fine then. Howard gives Bernie a foot massage. And in the scene with Penny, Howard mentions massaging Debbie's vericose veins. The show is pro massage. We also learn that Howard and Stuart use the jets in the hot tub for an improvised personal massage of sorts. Are you happy ?

Props to him for taking one for the team. Bernie may now reward all of us here in The US with free healthcare and a university education not accompanied by debt in the very near future

To paraphrase Sheldon: "What are we. Hippies?"

Holy moly this board woke up when I was gone what happened?!?
