Would TBBT guys be into The Mandalorian now as their next obsession?
Would Sheldon trade his Nobel Prize for the real Baby Yoda?
Sure; the guys would be all over "The Mandalorian". After all it is a part of the "Star Wars" saga; and we know how much the guys love Star Wars. Also, The Mandalorian really is a great show.
As for Sheldon trading his Nobel Prize for Baby Yoda…no way! Only death and taxes could separate Sheldon from his Precious.
I can picture it now. Whatever Sheldon's assigned food was for Friday night and everyone around the TV watching the newest Mandalorian.
After the conniption fit he had over the Spock napkin, I do think Sheldon would at least have a few moments of excruciating "should I or shouldn't I?" deciding between a real Baby Yoda and his Nobel Prize. Pop culture items do seem to mean a lot to him.
Isn't Friday reserved for vintage video games and Chinese takeaway? Would they still be watching television on that night?
You've got a good memory! I guess it depends on how intent Sheldon is to sticking to his rules. (What am I saying?? Of course, he wouldn't waiver.) I said Friday because that's when we watched it in my household. I think it was released around Friday each week.
So the next question is then, when would Sheldon and the gang watch it? Seems like they'd have a hard time waiting. Star Wars Saturday? Would that become a new thing?

When it comes to Sheldon trading for Baby Yoda, all else being equal, I think Baby Yoda eating would be a deal-breaker for Sheldon. Also, it would be pretty hard to fit the little tyke’s food choice into the guys’ established night-of-the-week dinner rotation.

Yes, I think that pretty definitively answers the question!
The gals would find Baby Yoda super cute and ohh and ahh all over. Thus Mandalorian Mondays would be ruined forcing Lenard, Sheldon and Howard to leave and go watch the show with Stewart and Denise. Raj being one of the gals would stay. Amy would surprise Sheldon with a toy BaYo that Shelly would fall in love with. Soft Yoda warm Yoda little ball of green sleepy Yoda happy Yoda blerp blerp blerp.

I want you to sing me that song next time I'm sick. 🎶💕
Re-watching “The Mandalorian”; noticed that the Speeder Pilot in E1 is Brian Posehn (Bert). Even with all that cold-weather-gear he is wearing, still hard to believe I didn’t notice the first time around; especially giving his distinctive voice.

Such unexpected “sightings” always make me .
Howard is jealous when he sees Bert in the Star Wars spinoff "The Mandalorian", while his audition goes nowhere.

Saturday is laundry night. Perhaps Sheldon has changed and he'll give up playing video games.

Perhaps the vintage video games can be seasonal, between seasons of the Mandalorian. Maybe Sheldon wouldn't consider that idea poppycock.

What would Sheldon think of Baby Nut?

Since Baby Nut has no connection to any TV show, movie or video game from nerd culture, I think Sheldon would call Baby Nut a "wannabe".

...Howard's Star Wars Audition
When Sheldon sees the Ravinak grab Bert, he yells "Bazinga!"
..."I'd stay of the ice if I were you."
